Henk is brought to the other side of the rainbow bridge to the green hunting fields he always dreamed of.

From Henk's sister "Topper Tempi from the Barking Bunch" we got some pictures we want to share with you. Tempi lives in America and Lisa wrote us just after celebrating her 8th birthday:
""Tempi is doing very well. She is still traveling with me and making friends wherever she goes. She loves holding the couch in place, harassing the cats, and playing big sister to all of the other dogs.She always makes friends everywhere she goes. She loves to play and is very silly. When she was younger she was amazingly good at soccer (or football ;-) I've never seen a dog use it's feet like she does! She's also been known to catch birds. Here a few pictures of her; all from 2008. One is from a day in the snow last winter. The second is from two weeks ago at the coast. She is truly a joy - thanks to both of you for such a wonderful Berner.

General information on Henk
The father of Henk is Otto as you just have seen. Otto is a big bear. He is beautiful and powerful: nearly 70 cm and about 65 kg weight. Most of the time Otto is in Austria and/or Switzerland with his owner Hans Melters who is a Mountain guide in the Alps for tourist. Each day in the spring, summer and the beginning of the fall he is 6-8 hours with him in the mountains, at the alms, in the snow or at the Hilton hotel in the weekends :-)

Henk is a line breeding on one of our most famous studs: Sir
Sirius. This stand for a perfect character and a good health (Sirius was 10
years of age when he died)! No wonder he passed the Swiss temperament test with
an "excellent" as end result.
All parents and grandparents are judged on hips and
with the best possible results: all were free of hip dysplasia (HD-A or HD-B).
And he himself has also perfect hips, they were X-rayed and judged by the
national Dutch W.K. Hirschfeld Stichting. The result: HD Tc.
And of course his elbows were also perfect: ED 0/0; no signs of elbow problems so the best result possible was also for him!
Henk is a powerful, beautiful, very harmonic dog of medium size and with a nice character and beautiful movement. Just take a look at the pictures on this page and you will see that for yourself!
You see that Henk is a dog to be proud of and WE ARE!
